About the artist Lisette Huizenga
Lisette Huizenga is a Dutch digital artist based in The Hague, who regularly lives and works in Venice. After a career in publishing, she chose to attend art academy (KABK, graduated 2009 with 3D work
Caleidoscopia, later specializing in digital painting). She has exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Biennale in 2015.
Her work connects classical painting (Renaissance perspective, early abstraction) with advanced digital techniques, resulting in illusions of depth, movement, and time. She is a member of Pulchri Studio and curator of, among others, Evolution of Arts and the art project Taste the Future.
