Return and Withdrawal Policy

  1. Right of Withdrawal (14-day cooling-off period)

    You have the right to withdraw from the purchase without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the product. The cooling-off period starts on the day after you (or a third party designated by you) physically receive the product.

    To exercise this right, please send us a clear statement (for example, by email to support@huizengacollection.com) that you are withdrawing from the agreement.

  2. Exception: Custom-made products

    All works are custom-produced according to your chosen specifications (size, material, finish) and therefore fall under custom-made products. There is no right of withdrawal (Article 6:230p paragraph 1 sub f Dutch Civil Code).

    Cancellation is only possible before production begins. In that case, you will pay the production costs already incurred. The creative costs (design and artistic process) will not be reimbursed.

    Once production has started, cancellation, return, or withdrawal is not possible.

  3. Return of limited editions (if applicable)

    Limited editions are produced on request. If the work does not qualify as custom-made, you can withdraw within 14 days.

    The product must be returned undamaged, unused, and in its original packaging, including the certificate of authenticity. The return shipment is at your expense.

    Upon return, you will only receive the price of the artwork back (excluding production costs, transport, and insurance).

  4. Shipping and risk
    • Shipping within Europe: Free, including full insurance.
    • Shipping outside Europe: On request. Within 2 business days, you will receive a quote for transport and any import duties. You can also choose to handle customs clearance yourself.

    The risk transfers to you upon delivery. In case of visible damage, please note it directly with the carrier (DHL) and report it to us within 24 hours (with photos). We will then file the claim.

  5. Payment

    The full amount (artwork + execution) must be paid in advance. Production will only start after payment has been received.
