Lisette Huizenga regularly gives lectures about her work and creative process.

She takes you behind the scenes of her art. Through many images and personal stories, she shows how her works come into being — from autonomous paintings and 3D animations to embodied paintings on functional objects.

Central to her lectures is the question of how we, as humans, can experience, hold on to, and pass on beauty in a world that is constantly changing. In doing so, she explores the relationship between consciousness and creation — between the visible and the invisible, between the painting and the space it inhabits.

The lectures take place in her studio in The Hague (maximum 15 people) or on location. Specific themes can be explored in greater depth upon request.
