De Stijl van Nu - 2018 (4:39 min) - Excerpt from the 3D animated film De Stijl van Nu. In this film, Lisette Huizenga asks herself whether painting and architecture influenced each other at the beginning of the twentieth century. The animation is based on two paintings by Piet Mondrian — Composition with Red, Black, Yellow and Grey (1921) and Victory Boogie Woogie (1944) — and on the Nirwana building (1930) by architect Jan Duiker in The Hague.
